Kirby Muxloe has a variety of recreational facilities, including:
- Playing fields with outside gym equipment and Children’s play area
- Tennis Courts
There is also a Village Hall, Library, Bowls Club, Football Club, Golf Club and, of course Kirby Muxloe Castle, which is FREE to walk around and explore.
Nature Spot
Leicestershire County Council is working with a wide range of Parish Councils and local communities to change the management of selected road verges in order to improve their biodiversity value. The Leicestershire wildlife charity Nature Spot is supporting the project by organising ecological surveys of the verges and by promoting these sites as featured Wild Places on its award-winning website.
